We have also finished our eventful wedding season, which we look back on with pride and joy.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The year 2022 is under the sign of the elements. The gods of wind, rain and sweltering summer heat are present and our faithful companions.<\/p>\n<p>The wedding year begins with typical April weather in the unique Schorfheide &#8211; we may marry our bride and groom Anne &#038; Stephan. At the very hot summer solstice our way leads us to Helmsdorf in Saxony. There we celebrate an unforgettable wedding with Marlen &#038; Frank and numerous guests. Our herb women, our medieval dances and the many good humour provide enormous fun and amusing entertainment. We don&#8217;t have 200 torches at our nightly torch dance every day either, and so the day ends in Helmsdorf with a magical flame celebration. In August, the well-known Viking Land in Kr\u00fcgersdorf welcomes us. Anne &#038; Maik tie the knot here. And upon the Elbe river in Tangerm\u00fcnde we finally meet Anja &#038; Toni, who vow their marriage together and before the old gods.<\/p>\n<p>This year&#8217;s baptizands are also adorable to look at. First the moon child Luna and later the lively Frieda are given the attributes of earth, water, air and fire. We give the two young ladies many good wishes on their ways through life.<\/p>\n<p>During her traditional rebirth festival, Jeannette is symbolically carried to her grave. She parts with unflattering qualities and begins a new phase of life in the midst of her friends. Afterwards, Heino&#8217;s sword receives the gifts of sixteen Valkyries in the firelight to serve its owner from the hour on.<\/p>\n<p>For the last highlight of the season, we travel to the Upper-Lusatian Highlands at the end of September. There we will host Karl Friedrich&#8217;s youth celebration and are happy to be able to accompany him into a new phase of his life.<\/p>\n<p>All the ceremonies have brought us an incredible amount of joy. Everyone who was there could see it in our faces! We have taken our bridal couples, the baptised, the born-again Jane and the young warrior of the youth rite into our hearts.
