On the edge of the D\u00fcben Heath we meet our former bridal couple <a href=\"https:\/\/eheleite.com\/2018-09\/mittelalterhochzeit-auf-der-funkenburg-am-15-september-2018.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Laura &#038; Christopher<\/a> again. Almost five years ago they got married according to pagan custom. Now we are happy to see that the couple in love has become a small family. It fills us with great pride to be able to host the pagan baptism of their two girls.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The first-born daughter Juna turned four a few days ago. She is therefore a child of the summer solstice. Talvi, their second daughter, saw the light of day 18 moons ago &#8211; at the time of the winter solstice. The days around the solstices will therefore always be special for the two girls because of their birth. But through the joint naming ceremony, they will now feel even more closely connected to each other as siblings.<\/p>\n<p>During the pagan baptism, the sisters are symbolically brought into contact with the four elemental forces of nature. The properties of earth, water, air and fire will work equally for our two solstice children from this moment on. And as at all times, the Norns now also spin the personal thread of life for Juna and Talvi. Accompanied by tender harp sounds, the girls are presented with beautiful baptism gifts by their parents and receive many good wishes for the future. Afterwards, the two Godi (godmothers) vow to always stand by their charges if they need help in life. Finally, the lighting of the name runes forms the worthy conclusion of this double pagan baptism ceremony.<\/p>\n<p>Dear Laura, dear Christopher, we would like to thank you and your family for the beautiful celebration. We wish you, dear Juna, to be full of life, loving, wise and empathetic, and you, dear Talvi, to be determined, self-confident, courageous and free-thinking!
