Dark pine forests, light sand and green meadows – Brandenburg, how beautiful you are! That’s how Bianca and Eric feel and invite to the Germanic Longhouse<\/a> in Kr\u00fcgersdorf for their big day. Here our bridal couple will be married in the morning in a civil ceremony. Eric and Bianca will then celebrate their wedding with Eheleite.com, with their family and with friends.<\/p>\n

During the ceremony, messengers are sent in all four directions to seek the consent of the gods. The messengers return with joyful news and the marriage bond is solemnly sealed by the priests. In the pagan custom of handfasting, however, not only the spiritual and physical companionship of Bianca and Eric is sealed, but at the same time two families are joined to form one clan. This creates a new clan, which is why it is necessary to obtain the consent of all those present. The confirmation resounds with a powerful “So be it!”<\/p>\n

After the wedding party has strengthened itself with coffee and cake, the music starts. Under the open sky, it only takes a few moments until the dance floor is filled and we are shaking a leg together with our guests. After all, a wedding without dancing is not a real wedding.<\/p>\n

At a late hour, it has long been dark in the state of Brandenburg, we perform a ritual flame ceremony and consecrate the swords Baldur and Walda of our bridal couple.<\/p>\n

Dear Bianca, dear Eric, we thank you for your heartiness and mutual sympathy. More than a year ago we were allowed to get to know each other and to discuss everything with you. Now we have spent these beautiful hours with you and your guests. We wish you all the best for your future together. May the old gods and the Great Mother, who is the oldest and wisest, always watch over you and always protect you!<\/p>\n
