The dark season has arrived and we are travelling to Chomutov in northern Bohemia. Here, where the trade routes Prague – Leipzig and Eger – Aussig once met, many kind people come together again today. They all want to accompany Maik into a new phase of his life. It is a very special honour for Eheleite.com to be part of this celebration. After all, we met Maik and his Stefanie<\/a> over 7 years ago and united them as a married couple according to the old custom.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The mill Prvn\u00ed ml\u00fdn<\/a> is located on the idyllic banks of the Chomutovka river. Wrapped in a thick coat of snow, it is the perfect place for Maik’s pagan birthday party.<\/p>\n

All the guests gather around the ceremony site, where Maik is symbolically laid to rest. He can now shed all bad experiences and unfavourable characteristics and is given the opportunity for a new beginning. The sacred ceremony is a reflection of the eternal cycle of life – a perpetual being, becoming, passing away and being reborn.<\/p>\n

Close friends and confidants give Maik good wishes and kind words for his new journey through life. At the end of the ceremony, he is led out of the circle by his sweetheart, so that she may continue to stand by his side.<\/p>\n

Medieval melodies are played during the ceremony that follows. Wedding memories are instantly awakened there. And so today, there is a cheerful dance as well.<\/p>\n

Later, as the deep dark night spreads across the land, the torches of all those present light up the sky. Maik and Stefanie light the fire and we are immediately enveloped in the mystical atmosphere of the blazing flames. We listen to the old myths and legends – it is the evening highlight of this successful festival.<\/p>\n

Dear Maik, it was a pleasure to spend another day with you and your family. Thank you for the wonderful moments. May the ancient gods always accompany you and your loved ones!<\/p>\n
