We are always happy to see familiar faces again. It’s the same today. Here in the district of G\u00f6rlitz, we are arranging a ceremony that has its very own magic, not only for the guests but also for us – our first youth dedication celebration. <\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

We were already guests at the Schlechteberg in September 2022 and organised the naming ceremony for Frieda Johanna<\/a> and the youth consecration for Karl Friedrich<\/a>. Even then, their older sister Fabienne also wanted a holy consecration ceremony.<\/p>\n

And now the time has finally come. Fabienne has now grown from a girl into a young woman. According to the old tradition, she is now accepted into the circle of women. Together with her mother Isabell, she walks through a willow arch cordon. This leads directly to the goddess. There, Fabienne and Isabell make an offering to the Great Mother and pay their respects to her.<\/p>\n

Today, Fabienne is initiated into the secrets of women and introduced to female rites and customs. As the keeper of the fire, she lights the torches (in the traditional way with a firesteel) that illuminate the evening sky during our magical torch run. We then sing and celebrate into the deep darkness.<\/p>\n

We would like to thank Fabienne and her family for this fantastic day. Dear Fabienne – we are very proud to have accompanied you into this new phase of your life and wish you all the best for the future. May the Great Mother, who is the eldest and wisest, always protect you.<\/p>\n
