Seven years ago, we were already guests in the impressive old walls of Positz manor<\/a>. We are therefore delighted to be able to organise another pagan wedding ceremony in this idyllic part of Thuringia at the time of the summer solstice. Veronika and Sebastian have chosen this romantic location to celebrate their wedding day here today according to ancient custom.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The bridal couple cheerfully welcomes their guests and everyone present gets in the mood for the wedding celebrations. The pagan wedding ceremony begins in the early afternoon. In the most beautiful wedding weather, our bride and groom listen to the old myths and traditions. Veronika and Sebastian make their very personal wedding vows in the temple – and therefor time seems to stand still for a moment. The wedding vows are heard favourably by the witnesses and loudly proclaimed. In keeping with the old tradition, Veronika receives a bridal gift from her beloved. It is both the key to his heart and the symbolic key to their new home together.<\/p>\n

As delicate harp melodies play in the picturesque courtyard of the manor, the happy couple invites everybody to the coffee table. Here, our herb ladies chat about Eva’s world of herbs<\/a>. In doing so they give advice and reveal many herbal secrets. The useful magic remedies from the home garden arouse the curiosity of the guests. Yet everyone is taken with the elixirs for grace and beauty, for love and for maintaining vitality.<\/p>\n

Afterwards, the herald invites the wedding party on a tour of the manor and to take part in archery. It is a varied day for young and old, and later our medieval dances also ensure an exuberant atmosphere. The wedding party is not long in coming. After just a few moments, the happy dancing starts.<\/p>\n

And just as Veronika and Sebastian have entered into a magical union today, the glow of the common torchlight procession is combined with the splendour of the full moon in the evening. Our bride and groom walk through the torchlight row and are enthusiastically cheered by all those present.
\nThe couple light the sacred solstice fire, which then blazes brightly into the night sky. As the ancient legend of the eternal cycle of the sun is heard, the whole company feels as if they have been transported back to a time long past. Accompanied by atmospheric music, a perfect day comes to an end for Veronika and Sebastian.<\/p>\n

Dear Veronika, dear Sebastian, it was very nice to spend these special hours with you, your family and your friends. We hope that you will always remember this day with joy and wish you all the best for your life together. May the old gods always be with you.<\/p>\n
