Today we drive along bright yellow rapeseed fields and lush green meadows to Bella Antonia. In mild spring temperatures, we are guests of her family to host a wonderful ceremony for her. The once little girl turned 14 suns just a few days ago. And just as nature is currently blossoming, Bella is now blossoming into a young woman.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
We would like to accompany Bella on the first steps of this new and exciting phase of her life. Her youth initiation ceremony begins in the early evening with a sacred hour of consecration. Here, Bella is accepted into the circle of women according to ancient tradition. Together with her mother Carla, she walks through a decorated willow arch trellis that leads directly to the goddess. There, Bella and Carla make an offering to the Great Mother and pay their respects to her.<\/p>\n
Bella is then introduced to female rites and customs and initiated into the secrets of women. In this way, she understands her future role and position within the family community. As the keeper of the hearth fire, she immediately lights the flames. This is where we light the torches for our magical torch walk.
\nLater, we play the harp around the warming fire into the darkness. We sing and celebrate happily.<\/p>\n
