Today our route takes us to the Oldenburg region. Here, where the landscape is characterized by beautiful avenues and extensive moors, we meet our bridal couple. Sandra and Florian were married in a civil ceremony a few weeks ago, but today they want to seal their love in the old tradition. For their pagan wedding, they have not only invited numerous guests, but have also chosen the pagan festival day of the summer solstice. To celebrate this day together, we come together in B\u00f6sel in Lower Saxony.<\/p>\n

In bright sunshine and summer heat, guests are welcomed with a cool drink and tasty snacks. Everyone is already looking forward to the coming hours.<\/p>\n

At mid-afternoon, Sandra and Florian walk through the bridal arch and enter the ceremony site. Thus begins the pagan wedding according to ancient custom and tradition. Goddess W\u00f6r, the guardian of all oaths and vows, is summoned. In the presence of all those present, the bride and groom pledge their mutual fidelity. The wedding vows are joyfully heard and loudly proclaimed by the witnesses. The goddess also witnesses this sacred oath. From then on, she watches over its observance. A stone serves as a symbol of this oath, which is given a special place in the home of the bride and groom. This vow stone will remind them of their oath every day. <\/p>\n

All the guests can see how in love Sandra and Florian are, and you can feel their close bond. When daughter Paulina agrees to her parents’ marriage by laying hands on them, their happiness is perfect. All the guests immediately rise from their seats – cheering and congratulating the newlyweds.<\/p>\n
