In the middle of the densely populated Leipzig city area, there is a secluded wildlife park right on the Plei\u00dfe river. The dreamy natural backdrop of the southern floodplain forest is now the setting for our 200th event. Julia and Christian have invited us here to celebrate their wedding.<\/p>\n

The couple already tied the knot in a civil ceremony this morning. However, they want to celebrate their heart’s desire \u2013 a traditional wedding \u2013 today with a proper Viking wedding.<\/p>\n

After our bride and groom have warmly welcomed their guests, the sacred ceremony begins in the early afternoon. <\/p>\n

Under bright sunshine and a deep blue sky, Julia and Christian walk through the specially erected archway. During the ceremony, the couple cleanses themselves of all mutual prejudices. In this way, they voluntarily sever all old ties and then embark on the path to a life together. In the birch-lined bridal temple, Julia and Christian promise each other eternal fidelity and devotion. As an outward sign of their marital bliss, they will now wear their wedding rings. Their mutual vows are joyfully heard by the witnesses Danny and Carsten and warmly applauded by all the guests. During the traditional millet throwing, everyone present wishes the bride and groom material prosperity and financial blessings.<\/p>\n

In the wildlife park restaurant<\/a>, the wedding party then enjoys coffee, cake and cool drinks. Afterwards, eheleite.com invites everyone to dance. With our rousing dances, it only takes a few moments for the open-air dance floor to fill up. Time flies by with the Holsteiner Dreitour, the Chapelloise or the Russian Troika. <\/p>\n

As the last rays of sunshine fade later on, everyone looks forward to the bonfire celebration that is still to come.
