This weekend our way leads us to the Swabian Alb. The Eisighof, part of Wilflingen Castle, is situated in the midst of the idyllic
\nlandscape, which serves as a beautiful backdrop for the pagan marriage of Sabrina and Joachim.<\/p>\n

The bridal couple joyfully welcomes its family and friends in front of the Eisighof Estate and already the wedding party moves on to the marriage
\nceremony.<\/p>\n

After the gods from all four cardinal points have agreed to the marriage bond of Sabrina and Joachim, they swear their eternal connection to each other in the bridal temple. Then the bridal couple steps up to the priests couple for the handfasting. During handfasting, bride and groom are being connected with a bridal band symbolically as well as actually.<\/p>\n

After the ceremony, all of the guests strengthen themselves with coffee and cake in the festive hall of the Eisighof, to shake a leg afterwards to medieval and folk sounds with eheleite.com. Likewise the games, specially organised for the bridal couple by the witnesses, such as archery, horseshoe throwing, egg skating and an inventive knight tournament, provide a lot of fun and good mood.<\/p>\n

The evening highlight of the party follows after the festive wedding feast: a magnificent torch dance, which is accompanied by atmospheric mystical music. The whole thing ends in a flame celebration with 100 torches and burning runes. The bridal couple and their guests enjoy the glow of the fire and listen to the ancient myths and legends, the sagas and songs.<\/p>\n
