Katharina and Christian celebrate their pagan marriage with a splendid castle festival in medieval style on Lindenfels Castle, which is idyllically located in the middle of the Odenwald.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

In the morning of the wedding day, the civil ceremony of Katharina and Christian takes place at the registry office of Lindenfels. After the marriage, the bridal couple and their guests move to the site of the pagan ceremony at Lindenfels Castle, accompanied by medieval sounds of the band Drachenmond<\/a>.<\/p>\n

At noon the bridal couple enters the ceremony place and listens to the old sagas and legends, together with its wedding guests. Then Katharina and Christian enter the bridal temple, in which they are quite for themselves and give their very personal marriage promise to each other.<\/p>\n

Katharina and Christian step in front of the priests pair in most beautiful late summer weather and get connected with the bridal ribbon (the so-called handfasting). They receive the blessing of the ancient gods for their union. The mayor of the City of Lindenfels is also present, Mr. Michael Helbig, who previously held the civil marriage for the two of them.<\/p>\n

After the ceremony, the wedding celebration and the medieval activities continue on Lindenfels Castle. The company strengthens itself with coffee and cake. Jugglers take care of laughing faces; ax-throwing, archery and combat-reenactment cater for excitement and the musicians of Drachenmond and the medieval age band Die Streuner<\/a> for an atmospheric musical background. Various handcrafts, blacksmithing and painting give an insight into medieval life and contribute to the original medieval atmosphere in the castle yard.<\/p>\n

Prior to the festive dinner, eheleite.com ask for the dance. The folk and medieval dances provide for a hilarious atmosphere and lots of fun for all guests.<\/p>\n

With the imposing fire show of Gauklerpack<\/a>, Katharina’s and Christian’s day of honor finds a proper ending late at night.<\/p>\n
