In Thuringian Kyffh\u00e4user District we are greeted by the imposing reconstruction of a Germanic defensive settlement. The Funkenburg of the Hermunduren, the army warriors of Thuringia, rises high above Helbe Valley. Laura and Christopher want to enter into the bond of marriage according to pagan-medieval tradition here today.<\/p>\n

With a small drink our bridal couple welcomes its guests. All present are looking forward to the coming hours. Family and friends take a seat on the festively decorated benches of the ceremony site. At the early afternoon hour, the young couple paces through the bridal arch.<\/p>\n

Now the marriage begins according to old custom and tradition. The gods of all four directions are questioned. Laura and Christopher promise eternal loyalty and solidarity to each other. As the lovers leave the festival ground, all the guests rise from their seats – cheer and congratulate the newlywed couple.<\/p>\n

After coffee and cake have been served, eheleite.com ask for the dance. With folkloric sounds, such as the Holsteiner Dreitour, the Chapelloise or the Russian Troika, the dancefloor fills up. It is always a pleasure for us to spend the day with such a dance-loving wedding party!<\/p>\n
