In the middle of the Leipzig Neuseenland you can find the <a href=\"http:\/\/restaurant-gut-kahnsdorf.de\/cms\/index.html\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Manor Kahnsdorf<\/a>. The lovingly restored building ensemble and the magnificent old trees in the adjacent park were a popular idyll to find peace yet in the past. Already in 1785 Friedrich Schiller visited close friends here and was inspired to his famous poem &#8220;Ode to Joy&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>For Julia and Andrej today also is a day of joy. A few days before their civil wedding we meet them on this charming estate to perform their pagan wedding.<\/p>\n<p>At dusk our bridal couple enters the ceremony area. Four messengers are sent in all four cardinal directions to seek the consent of the gods. The messengers return with glad news, and the marriage covenant is solemnly sealed by the priests.<\/p>\n<p>In the matrimony temple Julia and Andrej then promise mutual love and everlasting loyalty. And just as the torchlight and the night sky unite, the fire of love will unite our bride and groom forever. Dear Julia, dear Andrej, you are now connected according to ancient custom.
