In mild temperatures and a light summer breeze we are guests of the Manor Lucklum<\/a> today. Here, between Braunschweig and Wolfenb\u00fcttel, we meet our bridal couple to celebrate a wedding ceremony according to the old custom. The centuries-old complex forms the perfect setting for the most beautiful day in the life of Julia and Bastian.<\/p>\n

In the romantic manor park, the wedding party is eagerly waiting for the bridal couple. Julia and Bastian take their place right in front of the priests couple, and the pagan marriage begins. The festive and likewise magical atmosphere captures the imagination of all present.<\/p>\n

The highlight of the celebration is the traditional connection of bride and groom. The so-called Handfasting not only seales the spiritual and physical companionship of Julia and Bastian, but also two families are now connected to one kin at the same time. This creates a new clan, which is why it is necessary to obtain the consent of the family members present. With a strong “So be it!” immediately sounds their confirmation.<\/p>\n

In the historic manor, the sympathetic crowd happily continues partying after the ceremony. Dear Julia, dear Bastian, it was an honour for us to be allowed to accompany you on this important step.
