The tranquil town of Beeskow is located southwest of Frankfurt (Oder) and is regarded as the gateway to Lower Lusatia. Here you will find a unique landscape with old trees and untouched nature refuges. So it is not surprising that we are guests in this dreamy region for the fourth time now to marry a bridal couple according to ancient traditions.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

For this purpose, Ute and Thomas have chosen a particularly memorable wedding date, which will unite them for a lifetime. At the present 19.09.19 we meet them for their marriage in the Germanic Longhouse<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The raven is the sacred symbol animal of the family, and thus raven banner and dragon flag fly over the Viking-Country in Beeskow.<\/p>\n

The pagan marriage begins as the lovers cross the bridal arch. All guests rise from their seats to express their respect and appreciation in this way. During the ceremony, Ute and Thomas purify themselves of all mutual prejudices. As a result, they voluntarily free themselves from all the old connections and can ignite the flame of love together afterwards.<\/p>\n

The symbolic bride gifts of the couple are another ancient wedding rite.<\/p>\n

Thomas receives the family sword to protect his family. To Ute, on the other hand, a key is presented. This is at the same time the key to his heart, but also the symbolic key of the now common house. Accompanied by romantic harp sounds, Ute and Thomas promise their mutual love and eternal loyalty to the priest couple.<\/p>\n

Thereupon the two are connected with each other Viking-style above the pommel of the family sword – silver eagle. After family and friends are now witnesses of the marriage vows, the event is of course also captured in pictures. Many beautiful photos are taken under the sacred Germanic World Column – the Irminsul.<\/p>\n
