This weekend our journey takes us to Saxony-Anhalt. Above green meadows, the Elbe tributary Rossel washes around the moated castle of Dessau-Roßlau. The historic walls form a beautiful backdrop for Nadine and Michael’s pagan wedding.
The two have been married in a civil ceremony since 2024. Today, they would like to seal their union according to ancient tradition. The bride and groom joyfully welcome their friends and family to the castle courtyard.
The marriage ceremony begins in the afternoon. The gods of all four cardinal points approve the marriage of Nadine and Michael. And so the two swear eternal love and everlasting fidelity to each other in the bridal temple.
