How do medieval, Viking, pagan and black weddings differ from one another?
Your marriage covenant will be solemnly sealed in the presence of the ancient gods – this is an integral part of all our weddings. The differences lie in the personal touches: for example, individual symbols for the bridal temple (from Celtic triskeles to pentagrams), your favourite music or a handfasting over the pommel of a sword according to ancient Viking tradition. We are happy to put together many small pieces of the puzzle with you to create your perfect wedding.
What is a pagan wedding ceremony?
A marriage ceremony (accompanying someone into marriage) is the old way of celebrating a wedding. It is a festive wedding ceremony that incorporates ancient Germanic or Celtic customs.

What is a secret wedding ceremony?
A secret wedding ceremony is a marriage vow in an intimate setting. The bride and groom recite their mutual vows before the priests and the ancient gods.

What is Handfasting?
Handfasting is an ancient ritual in which the bride and groom are bound together as one with a special ribbon. This ribbon is made especially for the bride and groom and consecrated to the natural elements.

What are pagan life celebrations?
Life celebrations are held to mark the most important stages in a person's life: a naming ceremony (pagan baptism), a youth ceremony (at around 7 years of age), a youth initiation ceremony/initiation rituals (at around 14 years of age) or a pagan birthday celebration, but also death ceremonies or a pagan funeral ceremony or separation ceremonies (divorces).

What does the extra movie package include, and what is already included in the standard package?
Extra Package:
We’ll be there to capture every moment, big and small, throughout the entire wedding. Using up to six tripod-mounted cameras and a drone, we’ll ensure that the ceremony and all other parts of the programme are professionally filmed from a variety of angles. This results in stunning footage that authentically and emotionally captures the atmosphere of your great day.
From the extensive footage, we’ll create a professional wedding film lasting around 20 minutes. This is complemented by several additional short films that highlight special moments from the day, right through to the most emotional and beautiful moments of the celebration.
You’ll receive your personal film archive on a high-quality Blu-ray disc, which will continue to offer you a special experience for many years to come.
Standard Package:
In the Standard Package, the ceremony is also professionally filmed, but using only two cameras and a drone. The footage is edited into a compact highlights film lasting around 5 to 7 minutes. This is made available on Vimeo, where it can be viewed or downloaded at any time. A Blu-ray production is not included in the Standard Package.

Medieval or traditional clothing is recommended for pagan ceremonies. Various online retailers help modern men and women transform themselves into ladies and noblemen of yesteryear. Those who own traditional costumes can at least approximate a medieval style with these.
What is the appropriate location for a pagan ceremony or wedding?
Your personal preferences are decisive when it comes to choosing the right location: an old castle, a stately mansion or historic ruins can provide the perfect backdrop for your pagan ceremony. But an idyllic location in the great outdoors can also be an attractive venue for your celebration. As you can see, there are many possibilities.
