It is the end of September and we are guests in Austria. Mystically, the mountain peaks of Salzburg Country are shrouded in mist today. Here on the Trattberg, high up in the clouds and far away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, a feeling of freedom sets in. And our bride and groom feel exactly the same. They choose this special place to pledge their life covenant before the Old Gods and the Great Mother.
The great day begins for Tini and Fabian with their civil wedding ceremony in the closest family circle. In the hearty registry office in Oberalm, they give each other the “yes-word”. In the early afternoon we then celebrate the pagan marriage ceremony. The veils of mist part and we look out over a breathtaking mountain backdrop. The view of the deep-rooted Irminsul, the Barmsteine and the moving sounds of the alphorn blowers create the perfect setting for the sacred marriage.
The marriage bond of our couple in love is solemnly sealed by the priests with a golden ribbon. And just as earth and sky merge up here, the sparks of Tini’s and Fabian’s lifes also unite. They become one for all eternity! The approval of all present resounds with a strong “So be it!” and echoes far across the mountains.
Afterwards, a delicious feast is served in the romantic Enzianhütte. The music of the group 3° Extra really heats up the alpine hut and there is exuberant dancing. So we laugh and celebrate with our bridal couple until the early hours of the morning.
Dear Tini and dear Fabian, thank you very much for letting us spend this special day with you. Many, many thanks for this wonderful place! This day was also unique for us and has burned itself deeply into our memory.
May the blessings of the Old Gods and the Great Mother, who is the oldest and wisest, accompany you on all your paths!
