An eventful year is coming to an end. Together, we have experienced a lot again. Now is the time when the days are shortest, the cold wind reddens our cheeks and the frost nips at our noses. But when we pause for a moment and look back on our year of weddings, our hearts are warmed. So many smiles flit across our faces. Once again, it has been a pleasure to be on the road for you this year. After all this time, we are still proud of every Pagan wedding, Viking wedding, every handfasting, every flame ceremony and youth initiation that we have been able to celebrate and organise together with you.
Our wedding season begins in the merry month of May with a youth initiation ceremony. We are guests of young Bella. In a beautiful ceremony (on the outskirts of Berlin), she is initiated into the secrets of women and introduced to female rites and customs. It is our pleasure to accompany Bella into this new phase of her life. A few days later, we travel to the Black Forest. There, we celebrate Luise and Oliver’s 11th wedding anniversary with them until late into the night.
In May, we are also welcomed to the Dessau-Roßlau moated castle to marry Nadine & Michael in a moving handfasting ceremony. No less romantic is the pagan wedding of Sylvia & Sebastian, which we celebrate at the picturesque Lake Sacrow.
In 2025, the herb women from Eva’s World of Herbs are in demand once again. Each time, they create a cheerful atmosphere and entertainment with their herbal secrets and elixirs. In June, our journey takes us north to the Oldenburg region. Sandra and Florian invite numerous guests to their pagan wedding. It is literally the hottest wedding of the year. First, everyone present can hear the couple’s wedding vows in bright sunshine and scorching heat. And as befits the summer solstice, the day ends later with an impressive torchlight procession and a magical flame celebration.
After a short break, we experience the very cheerful handfasting of Evelin & David in the harvest month. All kinds of guests dressed in medieval clothing attend this heartfelt ceremony in Guben. We dance the night away with the cheerful wedding party before this night also ends with a magnificent flame celebration. In mid-August, we will meet Julia and Christian in Leipzig to seal their marital bliss. It will be a truly glorious day. On the one hand, because the two lovers are beaming with joy and, on the other hand, because it is the 200th event for us at eheleite.com. So it’s a day that needs to be celebrated twice over!
And just as our wedding season begins this year, so it ends – with a youth initiation ceremony near Eberswalde. We organise a ceremony for Jeremy-Dean that is just as exciting for us. It is our first youth initiation ceremony for a young lad. Surrounded by his friends and under the watchful eyes of the gods, J. D. masters all the challenges and emerges victorious.
