To experience a perfect wedding, first and foremost you need good planning. Many small pieces of the puzzle have to be put together to create the perfect overall picture. And so a simple ‘Will you have me…’ begins a journey together that leads you to the harbour of marriage. Of course, you first have to know where you want to go and in what setting you want to celebrate this day.
This joint planning and fine-tuning with our bridal couples gives us particular pleasure. It’s wonderful to see how this day gradually takes shape.
And then it’s finally here. That special day that you’ve been looking forward to for so long. For us, it’s always especially nice when we organise the rest of the celebration together with you after the pagan wedding ceremony. This is not only exciting, but also a lot of fun.
Our medieval dances in particular are always very popular with our guests. Even if the one or other dance grouch has to be convinced first. These dances are simply captivating and provide a lot of fun on the dance floor. And as a rule, no-one can resist. These medieval dances are explained by us (through demonstration and participation) and can be learnt by anyone in a matter of seconds. Our dances are suitable for every generation, so you will soon see old and young shaking a leg together. It’s a really nice sight. And it’s also a great opportunity for all the guests to get to know each other.
If you would like to have your celebration framed by harp singing and harp sounds, you will also find what you are looking for here. For example, you can listen to the story of the brave Brünhild to the sound of the harp. Or simply enjoy a worthy accompaniment to a coffee together.
A highlight of every evening is our torch dance. When night falls, the torches are lit together. This is a very special kind of torchlight procession. All guests walk around the festival site together to the beat of the music. Different symbols are paraded and each guest becomes part of the whole.
Darkness and firelight simply belong together. And anyone who has ever lit a fire or sat around a campfire knows the special atmosphere it creates. Here in the north, people have always worshipped fire because it provides light and warmth. For all those who, like us, cannot escape this magic and the spell of fire, we recommend our flame celebration. The bridal couple light the fire together and listen to the ancient myths in a breathtaking atmosphere. In the candlelight and by the fire, people have always listened to the stories and ancient myths.
