A wedding in Siberia – this may sound icy first of all, but it was not. Kerstin and Thomas celebrated their pagan wedding in the Restaurant Siberia in Elmshorn (Schleswig-Holstein) northwest of Hamburg – its name owes
the over one hundred year-old restaurant from the, in historical terms, remote location.

In the early evening we find ourselves together to celebrate a secret marriage with handfasting for Doreen and André. The two of them have traveled
from Wilthen to Gnandstein Castle to mutually promise their marriage here. It is midsummer time, the grass stands high and all around the trees bloom and florish. We look a happily married couple into the eyes and accompany them on their most beautiful path in life.

Gnandstein Castle near Leipzig in Saxony: the perfect place for a wedding ceremony. So it’s hardly surprising that we celebrate a pagan wedding there for the second time already.
