Under the eyes of The Great Elector, Nicole and Nils met on the Bielefeld Sparrenburg for a marriage according to old custom. After the register office appointment and all other formalities were done, it went on from the castle’s own register office chamber to the wedding ceremony.

At record temperatures of nearly 40°C, 50 wedding guests, 24 of us and the bridal couple Karin and Danielo met on Colmnitz Manor for a pagan ceremony at a small pond. Despite the incredible heat, we became almost amicable acquainted with the likable guests and the bridal couple Danielo and Karin and experienced a beautiful ceremony.

After fourteen days already, our way led us into the beautiful townlet Belzig again, which is located in the Flaming Heath (South-Brandenburg). At Eisenhardt Castle in Bad Belzig Michaela and Martin fulfilled all registry office formalities to move on to the Springbach Mill after, where the medieval ceremony should take place.

On Eisenhardt Castle of Belzig, Kathrin and Conrad said “I do” to each other. By carriage they drove from the castle in Belzig to the wedding ceremony. Out there, 21 of us and 60 guests gathered to marry and to compliment the bridal couple. All of the guests appeared in the finest medieval vestures and looked forward to a celebration of the most notably type: A pagan marriage with handfasting sealed the marriage tie of the two and set the worthy framework for the afternoon ceremony.
