Secret Marriage in Turin/Italy on 09 April 2016
Secret marriages are always something special, most of all when they take place at a meaningful location. On Saturday we had the great joy to witness the
vows of Valentina and Diego.
Therefore we met at the Venus-Temple of Turin, which is about two kilometres away from the city centre.
Handfasting in the Fortress of Spandau on 06 February 2016
For Christin’s and Benjamin’s marriage we traveled to the fortress in Berlin-Spandau on Saturday, to the so-called Citadel. The structure of the festival ground faced us with some challenges, because we could not carry out any groundwork on that historic, World Cultural Heritage protected site.
Name-Consecration on 30 January 2016 in Kreuzlingen (Switzerland)
For Nevio’s name-consecration we traveled to Kreuzlingen. In the parental home a room for the ceremony had to be prepared. We were glad to take up that challenge. Even the fire alarms were tricked by us, as we could ignite a specially prepared room fire for the baptizand.
Pagan Marriage at Rabenstein Castle on 28 November 2015
The weather of early winter welcomed us as we entered the ceremony place at Rabenstein Castle on Saturday. With our in total 70th wedding we had the great honor of marrying Gaby and Mike from Berlin. The two have met here at the “Dark Autumn Nights” 12 years ago. For this reason, the couple has decided to conduct its wedding at this location.
