Seven years ago, we were already guests in the impressive old walls of Positz manor. We are therefore delighted to be able to organise another pagan wedding ceremony in this idyllic part of Thuringia at the time of the summer solstice. Veronika and Sebastian have chosen this romantic location to celebrate their wedding day here today according to ancient custom.
Flame Celebration and Sword Consecration on 14 June 2024 at Lake Würm in Upper Bavaria
A flame ceremony is always a very special highlight. After celebrating Alex and Anja’s marriage in the afternoon, we now have the evening flame ceremony followed by the sword consecration.
14 June 2024 Viking Wedding in Upper Bavaria
Roman and Celtic ancestors already colonised the Upper Bavarian region. We find a beautiful landscape between the idyllic Ammersee and the majestic Würmsee (Lake Starnberg). Later it was the beloved home of our fairytale king Ludwig II and his soul mate Empress Elisabeth ‘Sissi’. In other words, a region full of history and original traditions. Today, Anja and Alex are at home here. They want to celebrate a wedding with us and their guests in the spirit of these old customs and traditions.

Today we are guests in the Hunsrück. Here, in the wooded hills, between the picturesque Moselle and the old father Rhine, we meet Maike and Alex for their pagan wedding ceremony.

At the end of the merry month of May, we travel to the green heart of Germany. We meet Frances and Marko in the idyllic Thuringian Forest. They have been a couple for 20 years and have certainly been to a few weddings. But today is their own great day. Today their union is to be sealed according to pagan tradition.
