On this summery weekend, our journey takes us to eastern Lower Saxony. Just a few kilometres from Helmstedt, nestled amongst vast fields and meadows, lies the medieval Warberg Castle. Today, these historic walls provide the stunning backdrop for Diana and Markus’s spiritual-pagan wedding.
The couple have been legally married since last year. Now they wish to seal their union according to ancient tradition.
In the early afternoon, our bride and groom welcome their friends and family. The herb-savvy ladies from Eva’s World of Herbs immediately mingle with the cheerful crowd, striking up a chat here and there. They chat about all manner of magical plants from local gardens and the natural world. The elixirs for love and beauty prove particularly popular.
Later, Diana is led to the altar by her brother Steve. Markus is already waiting there eagerly for his beloved. Happily, the bride and groom embrace and walk together through the wedding arch.
During the ceremony, Diana and Markus rid themselves of all mutual prejudices. They voluntarily sever all old ties and then together kindle the flame of love. As the Laguz rune is ignited, everyone can feel the magical atmosphere that surrounds the ceremony site. The Laguz rune is a magnet for happiness and a bringer of love for the couple – and was drawn individually by each of the two lovers from the rune oracle.
During the subsequent handfasting, the bride and groom are symbolically and literally bound together with their self-made wedding band. From now on, they will walk their life’s path in deep union. Their mutual wedding vows are proclaimed aloud by the witnesses, Anja and Steve.
As the bride and groom invite the wedding party to the banquet hall for dinner, it is time for eheleite.com to take their leave.

Die Hochzeit von Diana & Markus war unsere erste Mittelalterliche Hochzeit und wir waren total begeistert.

Wir möchten uns noch einmal auf diesem Weg ganz herzlich bei euch und dem gesamten Eheleite-Team bedanken. Ihr habt unseren großen Tag zu etwas ganz besonderem gemacht. Ihr und euer Team, ihr habt euch weitaus übertroffen und unsere Zeremonie zu einem perfekten Augenblick verwandelt. Ihr seit ganz, ganz große Klasse. Bleibt bitte alle so, denn das was ihr verwirklicht, ist etwas ganz großes und einzigartiges.
Ich muss sagen, als ich von meiner Schwester und Markus zu dieser Zeremonie eingeladen wurde habe ich das ganze doch ein wenig belächelt.
Aber, als es dann los ging und ich diesen einzigartigen Tag mit der Familie, Freunden und dem Eheleite-Team erleben durfte, mußte ich feststellen, dass es ein wirklich sehr schöner und besonderer Tag war.
Ich bin sehr froh darüber, ein Teil davon gewesen zu sein.
Diana+Markus.. denkt immer daran, ihr schafft das. Bis in alle Ewigkeit, und wenn ihr wollt auch darüber hinaus.
