At noon, we meet near Ravensburg. On the western edge of the Schussental, Beatrice and Marco want to celebrate a very special 17th wedding anniversary.
In the medieval knight’s lodging Hotel Arthus, our bridal couple welcomes their magnificently dressed guests with a little refreshment. Meanwhile, our herb women (Eva, Inga and Wiebke) chat about all sorts of useful things from the herbary. The guests have a lot of fun and there is large interest in the quack remedies for beauty and for love.
Today we are guests in the beautiful country of Saxony. In the middle of the Leipzig Neuseenland you can find the Manor Kahnsdorf. The lovingly restored building ensemble and the magnificent old trees in the adjacent park were a popular idyll to find peace yet in the past. Already in 1785 Friedrich Schiller visited close friends here and was inspired to his famous poem “Ode to Joy”.
With birds’ twittering and elves singing, in the most beautiful spring weather, we are in the Schorfheide on Easter Sunday. Here Mara and Ronny, Marktvoigt of Werbellin built a medieval meeting place on their own.
Full of anticipation, we are expecting the wedding year ahead of us. We are looking forward to all bridal couples, baptizands and guests to whom we are allowed to hold a pagan ceremony.
In the late afternoon we meet with Nadine and Thomas today. For their secret wedding ceremony, the two have chosen a personally important place close to Berlin.
