On Eisenhardt Castle of Belzig, Kathrin and Conrad said “I do” to each other. By carriage they drove from the castle in Belzig to the wedding ceremony. Out there, 21 of us and 60 guests gathered to marry and to compliment the bridal couple. All of the guests appeared in the finest medieval vestures and looked forward to a celebration of the most notably type: A pagan marriage with handfasting sealed the marriage tie of the two and set the worthy framework for the afternoon ceremony.
The local nobleman, however, wanted to spoil the celebration for bridal couple and guests with his demand for ius primae noctis. And that is how it came to a fight about the honour of the bride. Four knights fought each other in the sudden rain and bride Kathrin was very relieved afterwards that she was allowed to only belong to her Conrad. The knight of the bride won the tournament and gave the lady back to her legitimate husband.
Afterwards, there was playing, celebrating, eating and naturally dancing. A band of musicians struck up, and also eheleite.com asked the guests onto the dance floor for popular folk dances. The dance night proceeded with a common torchlight procession with all guests and ended with a collective flame celebration. When all guests gathered around the midnight flames together with the bridal couple and closed ranks, many stories were exchanged and told – and all attendants wished the bridal couple a fortunate mutual life.

Diese Hochzeit war für alle Beteiligten ein beeindruckendes Erlebnis, wir waren begeistert! Die Eheleiten organisierten eine faszinierende Zeremonie, ansonsten unauffällig-diskret agierend vom Ehrenspalier über die Tänze bis zum Fackelzug und -tanz am Schluss. Nicht nur dem Hochzeitspaar sondern auch den geladenen Gästen bleibt die Feier lange in guter Erinnerung 🙂 Danke und viel Glück dem Brautpaar!

Der 29. des Brachmondes war ein rundum gelungener Tag. Die Zeremonie und der Fackeltanz waren äußerst stimmungsvolle Momente, die uns noch lange in Erinnerung bleiben werden. Weiterer Höhepunkt, den wir nur empfehlen können, waren die Tänze zum mitmachen. Die Gäste waren so eingebunden, dass wir uns eine größere Tanzfläche gewünscht hätten. Auch die Organisation im Vorhinein war sehr harmonisch, macht weiter so!
