At record temperatures of nearly 40°C, 50 wedding guests, 24 of us and the bridal couple Karin and Danielo met on Colmnitz Manor for a pagan ceremony at a small pond. Despite the incredible heat, we became almost amicable acquainted with the likable guests and the bridal couple Danielo and Karin and experienced a beautiful ceremony.
In an antique car Danielo and Karin drove from the register office to the wedding ceremony. Thereby they were accompanied by an motorcycle escort, since “Motorrad-Max” (how our groom is called in his other life) is an enthusiastic biker and his driving companions had this little marriage surprise for him and Karin up their sleeves. Wonderful to watch at were the many red balloons, which rose into the bright blue sky at afternoon-time, provided with good wishes for the bridal couple.
While dancing then, all of us really broke into sweat. Despite the heat, however, nobody put us on hold for long and the dance floor was lively used. As even our motorcycle friends changed their venerable cowls against medieval vestures, everything was beautiful to look at, whereof everybody can convince oneself at the photographs. Dear Karin, and dear Danielo: We will keep your “hot marriage”, the two of you and your always good-humoured guests in a very pleasant memory. We gladly came to the scenic Ore Mountains and have celebrated this day together with you.
