The intense time of this wedding season is over. Meanwhile, the autumn leaves on the trees turn to the most beautiful colours. The sun is also even lower in the firmament. Medieval Marriage at the Funkenburg on 15 September 2018
In Thuringian Kyffhäuser District we are greeted by the imposing reconstruction of a Germanic defensive settlement. The Funkenburg of the Hermunduren, the army warriors of Thuringia, rises high above Helbe Valley. Laura and Christopher want to enter into the bond of marriage according to pagan-medieval tradition here today.

In the late summer of September we are guest in Mecklenburg Neustadt-Glewe. The landmark of the city is the historic castle with its defensive walls and the dominant keep. So we are on the way on historic tracks, since even Wallenstein resided in these walls for three days in 1629.

Our today’s name consecration leads us to Lower Saxony, nearby the Hanseatic City of Bremen. The Museum Complex Osterholz-Scharmbeck welcomes us to the pagan baptism.
Pagan Wedding on 1 September 2018 in Elmshorn
On the 1st of September we are traveling in the rough north of Germany. Occasionally we have already been in this area. Therefore we know that the nordic men and women who live here are quite sunny and heartfelt. In the dreamy park area of Restaurant Sibirien in Elmshorn we carry out our 100th wedding today.
