The longest castle in the world welcomes us today to the marriage of Verena and Wolfgang. Burghausen Castle is perched on a narrow ridge between River Salzach and Lake Wöhr. With its defiant fortress walls, towers and battlements, the complex forms an impressive backdrop for today’s festival.

At this weekend we are guests in the north of Germany. Gut Horndorf in the district of Lüneburg offers an appealing ambience for the pagan marriage of our bridal couple Jeannine and Andreas. Since lately, the two are married in a civil ceremony. With today’s wedding they want to close the marriage according to pagan tradition and ask for the blessing of the old gods.
