Pagan Wedding and Flame Celebration on 2 February 2020
The great outdoors is the most beautiful place you can imagine for a pagan celebration. However, rain that has been going on for days is destroying this plan. Therefore we are looking for a rustic forest hut for our ceremony. We can find this in the Trassem Forest Adventure Centre in Rhineland-Palatinate, in the middle of the beautiful Eifel region and only a few kilometers from the border to Luxemburg.
Name Consecrations, Birthday Parties, Sword Consecrations and Flame Celebrations, Handfasting and Pagan Marriage – Highlights of the Year 2019
We have had an eventful year. We look back on it with pride and full of joy.
We meet our newlyweds on historic manors and in romantic parks. According to the old tradition, we lead Julia & Andrej and Julia & Bastian into marriage. Beatrice & Marco can also be reconnected, and our herbal women ensure lots of fun and entertainment.
Words about the 2019 Solstice
At this place there is always our annual review in December. For this time, however, we came up with something else. Of course we always ask our bridal couples and their guests: “How did you like it? Could we touch your heart with our pagan ceremony? What do you think and feel about our rituals in general?”
Whether wedding, handfasting, name consecration, youth celebration, sword consecration, flame festival or, or …?
This is exactly the question we asked Arselia from the “Hijas de Omecihuatl” (Daughters of Turquoise) in Mexico. And of course we also wanted to know some things about their ceremony. Since they do not understand our language: Did they recognise parallels between their Indian and our Germanic customs?
Watch the interview with Arselia if you want to know the answers.

Wedding on 2 December near Dresden
37 moons ago – in the year 2016 – Tino and Michaela stepped in front of the priests couple to promise their marriage. This pagan wedding also took place on December 2nd. Back then we were already invited to the civil ceremony that has yet been planned.
